Kathleen L. Stirling Bloomingburg, NY Kathleen L. Stirling, a 25 year home maker and long time resident of the area, passed away unexpectedly at Garnet Medical Center in Middletown as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident on Wednesday March 3, 2021. She was 77. The daughter of the late Joseph Dowds and Louise Sadler Dowds, she was born on December 24, 1943 in Bronx, NY. Survivors, Daughter Karen L Hoppe and Husband Michael E Hoppe, Son predeceased James J Stirling, Brother Joseph Dowds, Sister Maureen Levandowski, Cousin Jerry Kiley and Wife Olga, Cousin Mary Lou Kiley, Step grandchildren Kristen M Hoppe, Michael B Hoppe and girlfriend Sydney Vingers, In Laws Timothy Hoppe and wife Anita Hoppe, Nephews Keith Levandowski and Wife Liz, Walter Levandowski and wife Michelle, great nieces and nephews, Brian Wilson, Steven Wilson, Stephanie Stanich, Lisa Wilson, Jennifer Ostrander, Nicholas Levandowski, Michael Kiley, David Kiley, Ellie Hoppe, Taylor Beaubien and her best friends the golden girls Patricia Davis and Carolyn Bailey. Visitation will be held on Friday March 12, 2021 from 4-7pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Services will be held at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Maple Hill Crematory in Archbald, PA. Due to COVID-19 restrictions capacity is limited. Face mask and social distance requirements mandated by NYS are in effect.
