Obituary of Lawrence C. Fiscorelli

Lawrence C. Fiscorelli Pine Bush, NY Lawrence C. Fiscorelli, a life time resident of Pine Bush, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday October 8, 2007 at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. He was 85. The devoted son of the late Charles and Millie Fiscorelli, he was born on April 28, 1922. Lawrence was a graduate of Pine Bush High School class of 1940. Lawrence proudly served his country in the US Air Force during WWII as a radio dispatcher, and as an ROM Gunner. After an Honorable discharge he was the co-owner, operator of a TV repair shop in Middletown, NY. In the early 1960's Lawrence joined IBM as a computer technician and field representative. After 25 years of service at IBM, he retired in the early 1980's. He also drove a limousine for Harry Mills in Maybrook, NY. Lawrence was a member of the Pine Bush High School Golden Alumni Association, the IBM MHV QC Social Club, American Legion Post 1308, Pine Bush, and he was and devoted Democrat. Survivors include his daughter Lorraine Shuart-Riker and her husband Blair of Wantage, NJ, step daughter Joyce Guinn and her husband Jim of Matamoras, PA, grandson Bruce Shuart and his wife Stephanie of Wantage, NJ, granddaughter Jennifer McCarthy and her husband John of Sussex, NJ, step granddaughter, Mary MacGregor and her husband Bill of Longmont, CO, great granddaughters, Katie and Miranda Shuart of Wantage, NJ, several nieces and nephews, and their children. A family statement reads" Lawrence was a devoted father and loved his family and was willing and able to help any and all in need." Visitation will be held on Friday October 12, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Road Pine Bush, NY. American Legion services will be held at 7:15pm during visitation. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 13, 2007 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Alfred Jaeger officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at New Prospect Cemetery.
