Obituary of Stanley C. Eichler

Stanley C. Eichler Pine Bush, NY Stanley C Eichler, 103 years old of Town of Shawangunk retired Postmaster Grand Central Post Office NYC died Saturday August 14, 2021 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. The son of the late Hubert S Eichler and Eleanore Hartmann Eichler he was born on February 26, 1918 in NYC. Stanley was a Veteran of WW II, rank of Corporal in the United States Army. Survivors include his daughter Kim R Decker and her husband John of Town of Shawangunk. Grandchildren, Stewart and his wife Jordyn of Newark NY, John and his wife Jenna of Town of Shawangunk, Nicole and her husband Raul of Town of Shawangunk, Nicholas Stanley-Charles and his fiancé Kaylia of Sparrowbush and bonus grandson Emmanuel Jasabe of Town of Shawangunk. Ten Great Grandchildren, Anthony & Angel-Marie of Town of Shawangunk, Gabriel Decker of Greenville NY, Savannah Batzel of Sparrowbush NY, Irelia & Dean Decker of Town of Shawangunk, Callahan Eichler of Newark, NY, Robert, Abby and Jaxon Decker of Hurleyville NY. Nieces, Ann, Paula, Caroline, Georgette, Catherine and nephew Will along with great nieces & nephews. Stanley was predeceased by his only son Robert P Eichler, his grandson John Curtis Decker, Ex wife Helen & her husband Stewart Callahan and they remained the best of friends, 2 brothers Richard and William Eichler. Dad was adored by his family as well as the love he had for all of us and he will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be private and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY with full military honors.
