Dad, I want to thank you for welcoming me into the family with open arms and for showing me so much love over the years. I am so thankful I was able to be with you during your last days here on earth...We Held hands, we chatted some, we even giggled a few times especially when you asked me about the Dodgers winning and I told you I didn't know, I didnt follow baseball...for some reason, that made you laugh. I will always remember all the nice times we had together..especially our christmas eves. One in particular the most ..when Eric played Silent night on his guitar and you and Mom sang it quietly. I am blessed to have been able to be with you, holding your hand as you took your last breath...but more than anything I am blessed to have had you as my father in law.
Rest Easy Dad....I love you and will miss you immensely. Love, Nancy
