Richard J. Cooper II, a lifetime resident of the area, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2021. He was 29 years old. The son of Richard and Margaret “Mandi “ Cooper, he was born on December 31, 1991 in Middletown NY. Richie was an avid Yankee & Giants fan, enjoyed sports, and played soccer for many years in his youth. Survivors include his parents Richard and Margaret “Mandi” Cooper of South Carolina, sisters, Alise Cooper and Mallory Cooper also of South Carolina, nephews, Caleb Cooper and William Kell. Richie is further survived by his aunts, uncles and many cousins. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org.
