Obituary of Barbara Vargas

Barbara Vargas Middletown, NY Barbara Vargas, wife of the late Raul Vargas, passed away on January 25th, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center. She was 54. The daughter of Jose Antonio Lebron Alicea, and Carmen Antonia Aviles Alicea she was born on May 7, 1967 in Bronx, NY. Barbara was a homemaker who enjoyed spending quality time with family especially her two grandsons. Her words were “As long as I see the people I love happy, I am happy”. She was a loving and caring Daughter, Sister, Mother, and devoted Grandmother, always having a pure heart of gold and beautiful smile that will never be forgotten. She will always be remembered as kind, generous and a good hearted person who always lent a helping hand when needed with no hesitation. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children: Son , Manuel Vargas of Middletown NY, Daughter Vanessa Vargas of Middletown NY, 2 Grandsons, Leo and Lorenzo Vargas. She will also be remembered by her daughter-in-law, Aida Maisonet of Middletown NY, Brother, Jose Alicea of Bronx NY, Sister, Milagros Lopez of Bronx NY, and by 11 Nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 30, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Funeral services will be offered on Monday January 31, 2022 at 11am at the funeral home.
