Michael J. Adenaike January 9, 1996 ~ May 24, 2015 Town of Shawangunk, NY Michael was renewed in body and spirit on May 24th 2015 after a long and valiant fight against cancer. Michael was very active in his local community, was an Eagle Scout from Pine Bush Troop 1002, and member of the Pine Bush Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving Team. He received his Varsity Letter in 2013 and swam with his teammates at the NYS Swimming Championship in 2014. Michael was an artist, musician and an athlete. He graduated from Pine Bush High School in 2014, and was the recipient of an Art Scholarship from College of Saint Rose, where he planned to major in Art and also to continue to swim competitively. Michael is survived by his Mother, Carolyn Keyes of Walker Valley, NY; Father, David O. Adenaike of Indian Trail, NC; his Aunt, Rose Anne Weissel and her husband, Jeffrey K. Weissel of Allendale, NJ and many cousins. Michael is also survived by all of his brothers in Scouting and Swimming. Visiting hours will be Friday, June 5th 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush, NY . Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday June 6, 2015 at Pine Bush United Methodist Church with an interment ceremony to follow at New Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to support the youth of our community in Scouting and in Swimming. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
