My husband Art and I met Kathy when we moved to Southport, NC where she was living in 2015. We met her through Sacred Heart Catholic Church and became good friends. Many times we'd go out to eat after Mass, or we'd go shopping or just socialize. I know how heartbroken Kathy was after losing her beloved Lenny, and she regaled us with many stories abot him, their beloved children, and their life in NY. I was sad when she decided to leave NC and move back "home," but that was where she had many wonderful memories.
On a whim I decided to look her up for I had not heard from her in a long time. I was so saddened to learn she passed, but at least now she is with the love of her life. RIP dear firend!
