Was so sorry to hear of Lester passing, we were longtime friends starting in minor first grade Growing up we had quite the group in Shawangunk we would all ride bikes back and forth getting into all kinds of mischief. As we got into high school Lester Steven White and I would just hike up into the mountains exploring all the caves and crevices, no one new where we were, often camping overnite. We also played in the band together from middle school thru high school Lester was very good on the sax. Also as a teen and after high school he worked for my dad for quite a while at Coreys Greenhouse. He was one of those old friends you may not see a lot but never forget. Owen Corey.

My deepest sympathy to your entire family but especially to Peter, Walter and Diane. Having grown up with all of you, I have the fondest memories of playing in the yard, playing penny poker in our kitchen, playing ice hockey, snowmobiling and playing in the High School Band together. I am so sorry the the passing of Lester. My fondest memories are when he played in the Wallkill Marching Band. My prayers are for the family and friends in the days ahead.

Meeting in the 80's in societies darkest places, seeing your smiling face really made a lot of people feel good. Our friendship means so much to me & my family. You radiate everywhere you went and folks just enjoyed being around you. The laughter we shared was priceless and the games, conversations, and the times we spent together will remain with me for the rest of my life. I am saddened by your passing but are happy knowing that you are in the arms of our Lord. Rest easy, my good friend, until we meet again. I love you !!
