Obituary of Margaret Evelyn Sinclair
Margaret Evelyn Sinclair
Pine Bush, NY
Margie (Margaret) was born in Brooklyn, NY to her loving parents, Margaret (Brown) Fisher and George Fisher. She was blessed to grow up with two older brothers, Georgie and John Fisher, her mentors and guiding lights.
Margie met the love of her life, Jimbo in her early teens and they married in 1955. They settled in Bay Ridge, (Brooklyn) close to both of their families, and they enjoyed an active life with scuba diving, beach bbq’s, and lots of adventures “upstate” to the “country”. In 1956 her parents purchased a summer home in Searsville, NY, this marked the beginning of the migration north, lots of friends and family followed. Family gatherings, friends and food were a recurring theme in the Sinclair home.
Margie & Jimbo made the permanent move to Walker Valley in the Summer of 1969 where they continued to grow their family and added many new friends to the roster.
Margie and Jimbo cherished laughter and shared experiences with friends Connie and Nick Coppola and Chris and Charlie Thomaschek, and the YaYa’s. These dear friends helped create memories together through shared adventures, inside jokes, and moments of pure joy.
Margie taught her children the power of friendship, and a wonderful work ethic. She was an accomplished homemaker, and enjoyed working on and improving her beautiful home. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, decorating, art, books and travel. Margie had a broad taste in music, from Tupac, Eminem, Lady Gaga, and Andrea Bocelli to name a few.
Margie was loved and will be missed by her family; Keith Sinclair, Tracey Sinclair and her husband Paul Deserto, Bryan Sinclair and his wife Danielle, Charles Teigland, Maggi and her husband Paul Grannis.
Her cherished grandchildren; Christy DeJong, Colleen Sinclair, Amy Sinclair, Katie Deserto, Nick Deserto, Adam Teigland, Elissa and Daniel Kennedy, Sera Mance, Chelsea Zuidema, Kingston Sinclair and Hendrix Sinclair. Her great grandchildren;
