My condolences to all the family. David was a great person, electrician and friend. I worked at Nepera with him and he had a great work ethic, dedication and
resilience not seen before. He always came when called in and 'saved the day' many times.
He never refused anyone asking help. He was a proud US Marine and carried that with him.
He left us too soon. My prayers are with his wife, daughters, parents and sisters.
Sincerely:
Ed Sylcox

Dave and I went to a few NY Giants draft parties and we really enjoyed those times together. Dave and I worked together for his entire time at Nepera inc in Harriman. Dave was one of the most genuine people you could ever meet. Just weeks ago we spoke for a moment. I will miss one of the best I was ever able to meet. Rest peacefully my brother.

As his uncle I’ve known David my entire life. David joined the Marines so that he could serve his country and learn electronics. His sharp mind comprehended the complex knowledge base of electrical engineering. I remember having many conversations with him about his work, classic rock and roll, and politics. When Gregg Allman passed away he texted me to share the news as I am a fan of the Allman Brothers. I was very proud of his accomplishments and would frequently brag to my friends that he was an HVAC technician. But I would always point out that he wasn’t the guy who would come to your house to fix your A/C, he was the guy that was sent to a New York City skyscraper to consult with the permanent staff of the building engineers. David also helped to modernize the city steam generation system. He told me that he knew many secret parking places in the city and had visited every steam generation plant. I will miss David and will always be proud of him.
