Mark Gillespie
Pine Bush, NY
Mark Gillespie, a Jockey for Yellow Freight in Maybrook and
lifelong resident of the area passed away on Wednesday April 13,
2011 in Pine Bush. He was 50. The son of Irene Toliver
and the late Edward Gillespie, he was born on September 26, 1960 in
Pine Bush, NY. Mark belonged to the International Teamsters
#707, The Beaver Brook Rod and Gun Club, and the N.R.A. He was an
avid Hunter who loved being outdoors and entertaining his family
and friends, and was loved by family and friends alike.
Survivors include his wife; Anne (Nancy) Gillespie, his mother;
Irene Gillespie, sister; Susan Esposito and her husband Nick,
brother; Paul Gillespie, mother in law; Elizabeth Spafford,
brothers in law, John Spafford, and William Kane, sister in law;
Kathleen Stillman and her husband Carl, nieces; Lindsay Stillman,
Kristen Stillman, and Julie Kane, nephews; Sean Kane and Kevin
Kane, numerous friends, and his beloved dog, Blue. Visitation will
be held on Sunday April 17, 2011 from 3-7pm at the William M. Gagan
Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD Pine Bush. Services will
be conducted at 6:30pm during the visitation. Cremation will
be at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh. Memorial Donations can
be made to the The Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post
Road Walden, NY 12586. Arrangements entrusted to the William
