Dominick Grossi, a Retired Manager of Singer Sewing Machines in Middletown and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on Thursday August 27, 2009 at Castle Point VA Hospital. He was 94. The son of the late Michelangelo Grossi and Pasqualina Ferrara Grossi, he was born on February 2, 1915 in Brooklyn, NY. Dominick was a member of the American Legion G. Paul Bettinger Post# 1308, the Walker Valley Seniors, Knights of Columbus and Montgomery Gun Club. Dominick served his country during World War II, as a Sergeant for the US Army. Survivors include his wife Ada at home, 2 sons James Grossi of Pine Bush and Michael P. Grossi of Neversink, 3 grandchildren, Fawn, James Jr., and Giuseppe, 1 Brother Thomas Grossi and wife Frances of Pine Bush, sister in law Ruth Grossi of Pine Bush, cousin Betty Sasso of Pine Bush, brother in law Jansen Knight and his wife Frances and 1 great grandchild, Alex, and many nieces and nephews. Dominick is predeceased by his brother Francis Grossi and cousin Joseph Sasso. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday September 1, 2009 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Cremation had taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Arrangements entrusted to Richard A. Lalli, Director of the William M.
