Montgomery, NY
Roberta Mae Harper, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Monday September 14, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Newburgh. She was 82. The daughter of the late Henry Miller Sr. and Daisy Mae Green, she was born on October 28, 1927 in Glen Rock, NJ. Survivors include her son Joseph John Yuroshek of Montgomery, daughters Roberta Lawless of Pine Bush and Cathy Yuroshek of the State of Florida, 12 grandchildren, James, Wendy, Renee, Georgina, Ronald, Sharon, Chery-Lynn, Joseph, Derek, Shawn, Dawn, and Dennis, 17 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, James Miller of the State of Florida and Henry Miller Jr. of Montgomery, sister, Beverly Martin of Wurtsboro. Roberta was predeceased by her husband Wallace Harper, sons Kenneth Yuroshek and Dennis Yuroshek, daughter Linda Strunk, Brothers Tom and Fred Miller and Sister Nancy Zazversky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Saturday September 19, 2009 from 10:00am – 1:00pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm at the Funeral Home with Pastor Robin Hogle officiating.
