Obituary of Dawn T. Huntoon

Dawn T. Huntoon Pine Bush - Dawn T. Huntoon, a lifetime resident of the area, died Sunday, October 14, 2007, peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was 53. The daughter of Rose Pondi Huntoon of Pine Bush, and the late John Huntoon, she was born August 13, 1954 in Ellenville, N.Y. She was the widow of Jim Woodill. Dawn was a Quality Control Inspector for Virtis in Gardiner, N.Y. In addition to her mother, Dawn is survived by her loving brothers, John Huntoon and his wife, Lynne of Pine Bush and Paul Huntoon of Alabama; loving sister, Kathleen Carol Morgan and her husband, Jim of the Town of Wallkill; loving niece, Kara Huntoon of Deerpark; loving nephew, Kyle Redner. She is further survived by her extended family, Blanche Ruff, Kim and Gavin Hanshaw, and Jeff Ruff, all of the state of Florida; and her good friends, Steve and Theresa Kuhlmann of Napanoch, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 17 from 6 to 8 p.m., at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. Words of Remembrance will begin at 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with Deacon Joe Guglielmo officiating. Cremation was held at the convenience of the family.
