Resul Kurtbedin
Poughkeepsie, NY
Resul Kurtbedin, a retired Machinist for IBM Corporation, and a
longtime resident of the area passed away on Sunday June 10, 2012
at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie. He was 88. The
son of the late Resul and Fetima Kurtbedin, he was born on May 10,
1924 in Russia. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Esther at
home, his children; Resul Kurtbedin Jr. and his wife Beth of
Arizona, Elvira Marone of Poughkeepsie, and Tina Karinchak and her
husband Jim of Pine Bush, 4 grandchildren; Tommy Jr., Brian, Mike,
and Mya. Resul is also survived by his brothers, sisters,
nieces, and nephews living in Russia. Graveside services were
private and held at the Bruynswick Rural Cemetery in
Wallkill. Arrangements entrusted to the William M. Gagan
