Catherine Lawless, a longtime resident of the area, passed away
peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Montgomery Nursing
Home. She was 101. The daughter of the late
Michael and Mary Zazversky, she was born on January 24, 1914 in
Madeira, PA. Catherine was a member of the Walker Valley Seniors,
The Bradley Hose Auxiliary, and the Russian Orthodox Church.
Survivors include her daughters; Patricia Haegele of Pine Bush,
Joan Bement and her husband, Dick of Pine Bush, son; Thomas Lawless
Jr. And his wife Dorothy of Walden, 13 grandchildren, and several
great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren as well as many
nieces and nephews. Catherine is predeceased by her husband
Thomas "Jerry" Lawless Sr., sons; Lawerence J. Lawless, and
Theodore " Ted" Lawless. Visitation will be held on Saturday March
28, 2015 from 10-11am at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc.
1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. Graveside services will take
place in New Prospect Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of
flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your own choice.
