Obituary of Joseph Harry Lester

Joseph Harry Lester Joseph Harry Lester, 88, of 1000 North St., Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, died on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., March 16, 1918, the son of Harry Alonzo and Myrtle Alice Hickory Lester, he was educated in the Walden public school system. Mr. Lester was employed as an Automobile Technician and Parts Manager at Village Ford in Pine Bush, and its predecessor, East End Motors. He leaves a son, Edwin Harry Lester and his wife, Susan of Pittsfield, Mass.; a daughter, Sami Strout and her husband, Michael of Pittsfield, Mass.; two granddaughters, Quinn and Shelley Lester; and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 1:00pm at William Gagan Funeral Home, Pine Bush, NY. Pastor Robert B. Hewitt will officiate. Burial to follow in Bruynswick Cemetery.
