Obituary of Barbara J. Lewandowsky

Barbara Jane Lewandowsky (nee Duffy) Pine Bush, NY Barbara J. Lewandowsky, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area passed away at her home surround by family on Wednesday August 27, 2014. She was 73. The daughter of the late Charles Duffy and Anne J. McCaffrey Duffy she was born on October 20, 1940 in Bronx, NY. Prior to her marriage, Barbara worked as a Stenographer for US Gypsum Corp in Grassy Point, NY. She spent her married life as a homemaker and enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, spending time with family and enjoying occasional trips to Atlantic City. Survivors include her loving husband Theodore A. Lewandowsky Jr. at home, son, Theodore A Lewandowsky III of Mesa AZ, daughter; Regina Martin and her husband Ken of Pine Bush and 1 adoring grandson, Christopher Martin also of Pine Bush, sister; Ann Ramppen of Pine Bush, sister in law; Loretta Matthews and her husband Gary of Clifton Park, NY and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her sister, Mary Hall and her 3 brothers; Charles, Eugene, and Patrick Duffy. Visitation will be held on Monday September 1, 2014 from 4-8pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday September 2, 2014 at 10am at the Church of the Infant Saviour. Burial will take place in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery.
