Kathleen A. Lucas, a medical biller and 2 year resident of the area, formerly of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away on Saturday March 13, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus. She was 51. The daughter of the late Jackie Ray Thompson and Mildred E. Schlicht Thompson, she was born on January 3, 1959 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Kathleen is survived by her husband Donald at home, her sister Vickie Thompson of Marietta, Georgia, her brothers, Chris Thompson of Holden, Wisconsin, Dennis Thompson of Burr Oak, Wisconsin, and Steve Thompson of French Island, Wisconsin. She is further survived by 3 nieces and 4 nephews. She is predeceased by her son Nathan Niemeyer, and her brother John Thompson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 17, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will take place at 8:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Robert B. Hewitt officiating. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh, NY.
