Obituary of Mildred Mortensen

Mildred Mortensen, a homemaker, died Feb. 27, 2006 at home. She was 77. The daughter of the William and Mary Jones McGoldrick, she was born April 28, 1928 in Brooklyn. She was a member of Bread of Life Church, Bullville. Mildred and IB celebrated 55 years together on their anniversary. Survivors include her beloved husband IB at home; one son, Michael Mortensen and wife Magi of Smithtown, L.I.; one daughter, Kathleen Lipthay and husband Steven of Florida; three grandchildren, Ryan, Michael and Erika; two sisters, Florence Collins of Pine Bush, Veronica Permenter of Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wed., March 1 and Thurs. March 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Bert Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush.
