Obituary of Concetta Nunziato

Concetta Nunziato Pine Bush, NY Concetta Nunziato, a retired Secretary for Pine Bush High School and longtime resident of the area passed away on Thursday October 22, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center Horton Campus in Middletown. She was 84. The daughter of the late John Luisi and Catherine Santora Luisi, she was born on March 4, 1925 in Brooklyn. Concetta was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour. A family statement reads” Mom was a gift that was given to us by God. Anyone who knew her would agree. She was outspoken but at the same time was loving and caring. Mom treasured her daughter and son in law and all her family. This Bond will last always. A very special Angel is now in Heaven but unfortunately for us left behind, out of our sight but never out of our hearts. Mom will be missed very deeply.” Survivors include her loving daughter, Barbara Nunziato of Pine Bush, son in law Tim McCarty of Pine Bush, 19 four legged grandchildren, 2 loving sisters, Angie Crispo and her husband John of Long Island and Catherine Prevete of the State of Florida. Special family members include niece, Ann Marie and her husband Steve, sister in law Angie, and very best friend Linda. Concetta is also survived by many loving in laws, nieces and nephews. Concetta is predeceased by her husband Salvatore. Visitation will be held on Monday October 26, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday October 27, 2009 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery.
