Obituary of Madeline M. Pesce

Madeline Mary Pesce Middletown, NY Madeline M. Pesce, a longtime resident of Middletown, affectionately known as "Maddy", entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2014 at home. "God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around her and whispered "Come to Me". Madeline was 83 years old. The daughter of the late Anna and Saverio Boffoli, Madeline was born on December 8, 1930, in White Plains, NY. She spent her childhood in the Bronx, along with two sisters and three brothers. Madeline was a Sales Associate for Sears in Middletown, for over twenty years. Madeline was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was involved with Compassionate Friends and enjoyed senior functions at St. Paul's Church. Madeline had a good sense of humor and touched our lives with love, laughter and caring. Madeline is survived by her daughters: Patricia Ciarelli and husband Michael of Napanoch; Cathy Parlier and husband John of Cuddebackville; Diane Angeloni and husband Mark of Bullville; nine grandchildren: Melissa and husband Theo; Michael and wife Starla; Paula and husband Felix; Philip; Matthew; Teressa and husband Kevin; Breanna; Nicholas; and Anthony; and eight great-grandchildren: Michelle; Dominic; Gianna; Valentino; Julianna; Mya; Stefano; and Theo: Siblings: Mary; Nick; Terry; and Willie and wife Inez; sister-in-law Lucy. Madeline is predeceased by her daughter Paula Pesce; brother Peter Boffoli; sister-in-law Jennie Boffoli; brother in-laws Vito Lozupone and Jerry D'Agnese. Our family would like to give thanks to Fidelis Care, A&T Healthcare and a special heartfelt thanks to Bridget Glover, our angel. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4PM and 7-9PM on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc., 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 5, 2014, at Saint Paul's R.C. Church, 2800 RT 17K, Bullville, NY.
