Obituary of Edward M. Petersen

Edward M. Petersen Middletown, NY Edward M. Petersen, a retired Dairy Farmer, and longtime resident of the area passed away on Saturday September 18, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus. He was 73. The son of the late Mathias Petersen and Anna Timm Petersen, he was born on July 1, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY. Edward served his country from 1958-1962 in the US Army and was a 19 year member for the Circleville Fire Company. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Hanni at home, his 3 loving children, Scott Petersen and his wife Margaret of Goshen, Jeffrey Petersen and his wife Bernadette of Middletown, and Holly Petersen of Pittsburgh, PA, 3 loving grandchildren, Emily, Erin and Michael, 2 brothers, John Petersen and his wife Mary of Middletown and Robert Petersen of California, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday Sept 22, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will take place at 8:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Robert B. Hewitt officiating. Cremation will be at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh, NY.
