Obituary of Patricia R. Pirog

Patricia R. Pirog Pine Bush, NY Patricia R. Pirog, a home maker and longtime resident of the area passed away on Friday October 24, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 87. The son of the late George Coffin and Ruth Wober Coffin, she was born on October 12, 1927 in Denver, Colorado. Patricia was a 27 year member of the Pine Bush Volunteer Ambulance Corp, and a 14yr member on the Town of Shawangunk Zoning Board of Appeals. Patricia was an avid reader and bowler and enjoyed hunting. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Fred Pirog Sr. at home, her children; Ruth Ann Proper and her husband James of North Carolina; Fred Pirog Jr. of Walker Valley, Lynn Veety and her husband Mark of North Carolina, Robert Pirog of Washington, and Mark Pirog of Pine Bush. Patricia is further survived by her 9 grand children, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews She is predeceased by her son; Joseph Pirog, her brother, George Coffin Jr. and her sister Naomi Pirog. Visitation will be held on Monday October 27, 2014 from 4-8pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. Service will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2014 at 11am at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be private and take pace at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
