Edward B. Riggs Montgomery, NY Levittown, NY Sgt. Edward B Riggs, a retired Sergeant from the Nassau County Police Department and of Levittown, NY passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY on October 31, 2014. Edward was born on March 29, 1942 in Queens General Hospital, son of the late Andrew Magariner, late Wilhelmina M. Charles Riggs, and late step-father NV Riggs. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, June Riggs; his loving children Douglas Riggs and his wife Babette of Valley Stream NY, Dawn Pace and her husband James of Middletown NY, and Scott Riggs of Wantagh NY; grandchildren: Cheyenne Gleaves, Dakota Riggs, Bryanna and Zachary Pace. Also survived by his brother Douglas Andrew Riggs and his wife Joyce of Louisiana; Nieces Kathy Anderson and Beth Sanders and their families, Nephew Steve Riggs and his family. Also predeceased by his sister Nancy Riggs. After retiring from the Police Department Ed and June moved to Tennessee. They spent 20 years there and were very active Bee Keepers. Ed also was an airplane pilot in NY and TN. He returned to NY in 2010 to be close to his children. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and remained a loyal servant of Jehovah for 38 years. Ed will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Ed never met a stranger. Memorial Services will be held on November 9, 2014 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 21 Joshua Drive, Bloomingburg NY. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
