William F. Spina
Pine Bush, NY
William F. Spina, a retiree Lineman for Con Edison and longtime
resident of the area passed away on Sunday November 9, 2014 at The
Valley View Center in Goshen. He was 92. The son of the
late George Spina and Rachal D'Auria Spina, he was born on August
1, 1922 in New York City. A Veteran, William served his country in
the Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart. William
was the Past Commander of the American Legion, Member of the VFW,
Church of the Infant Saviour, Pine Bush Ambulance Corps., Pine Bush
Senior Citizens, and the Building Superintendent for the Pine Bush
Ambulance Corps. Survivors include his beloved wife of 67
years, Erika Spina at home, special friend, Mae Dunn of Pine Bush,
brother, Anthony Spina of Staten Island, goddaughter; Jamie
Rawcliffe, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by
several nieces and nephews. Services were private and held at
the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the
