Grace L. Springer
Grace L. Springer, a retired Department Manager for E.J. Korvette Stores in Long Island, and 18-year area resident, died Friday, March 3, 2006 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus. She was 83.
The daughter of Alfred Bockman and Cora Verity Bockman, she was born March 1, 1923 in Fargo, N.D.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Walker Valley, N.Y.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Louis Springer, at home; loving son, Richard L. Springer and his wife, Jeanette, of Floral Park, N.Y.; loving daughter, Laurel Fisch and her husband, Steven, of Pine Bush; seven beloved grandchildren: Jennifer, Louis, Joseph, Michael, Benjamin, Aaron and Sarah; four beloved great-grandchildren: Catherine, Elizabeth, Julia and Paul; a loving sister, Jayne Dowling of Long Island, N.Y.; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 6, 2006 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. A Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m. on Monday evening.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 7 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush, N.Y.
