Ruben Patrick Abrahante Middletown, NY May 24, 1980 ~ February 5, 2015 An Unbroken Angel Ruben Jr., the first born son of Ruben and Debbie Abrahante, born on May 24, 1980, recently lost his battle with cancer on February 5, 2015. An Unbroken Angel who has left us too soon is predeceased by Grandfather's; Pedro Arcadio Abrahante, Jose Antonio Vargas, Uncles; Dwight David Abrahante, Jose Antonio Vargas Jr., Aunts; Jeanette Abrahante and Millie Vargas. He was an amazing son who demonstrated monumental courage throughout his battle with cancer within the last two years. Ruben touched the lives of so many, bringing everyone love, laughter and joy. He was an exceptional person, a loving brother, a loyal friend and a dedicated uncle and father. Ruben had a positive and uplifting personality that left a lasting impression on everyone's path that he crossed. Ruben Jr. was raised in the Bronx. He graduated Cardinal Hayes H.S. in 1998. He then attended Binghamton University. He loved all sports, basketball being his favorite and was a competitor and enjoyed games like Poker, Dominoes, Spades, and X-box 360 Call of Duty was also one of his favorite pass times. Ruben Jr. was very passionate about his music. He was known for his freestyle and battling capabilities, and was always ready to deliver when it came to creating beats and writing lyrics. Ruben is survived by his 2 year old Daughter Kalysta , Parents; Ruben and Debbie Abrahante, Grandmother's; Maria Abrahante, Lydia Cartegena, loving Brother Mark David Abrahante, two beautiful Nieces; Analecia and Payton, and many caring Cousins, Uncles and Aunts. Ruben will always be remembered for his loving smile, charming and funny personality and his exceptional courage. Ruben you are our Unbroken Angel who will always be greatly missed but most definitely never forgotten With all our love. R.I.P. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 11, 2015 from 7-9pm and Thursday February 12, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Ralston Lippincott Hasbrouck Ingrassia Funeral Home Inc. 72 West Main Street, Middletown NY 10940.
