Francis S. Stueber Jr.
Pine Bush, NY
Francis S. Stueber, Jr, age 77 unexpectedly entered into rest on
Monday, December 9, 2013. He was born on March 5, 1936 at the
family farmhouse in Pine Bush, New York. Francis entered into
holy matrimony on June 30, 1962, to Patricia Gagan at Infant Savior
Church in Pine Bush. He is the son of the late Francis S. Stueber,
Sr and the late Sophie Pirog Stueber.
Although retired as a maintenance technician, he was currently
employed at Parvenu Enterprises as a Courier. Francis also
was a former employee of the Orange County Airport. He was a member
of the Knights of Columbus of Pine Bush, the NRA, Local 17,
the Beaverbrook Rod and Gun Club, Communicant, Usher and Greeter at
Infant Savior Church, American Legion and lifetime member of the
Pine Bush Fire Department. Francis honorably and proudly served on
active duty in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1958.
Survivors his three children Patricia Stueber Kelly, and her
husband H. Michael Kelly of Olathe, CO, Mary Stueber Grass and her
husband J. Michael of Pine Bush and Francis S. Stueber III and his
wife Cathey of Calabasas, CA. His eight adoring grandchildren
Joshua and his fiancée Jessica, Justin and his
fiancée, Jacqueline, Chelsea and Shannen Kelly, Megan
Grass, Patrick Von, Mason and Dylan Stueber, three
great-grandchildren Rey, Adonis and Teagan, sister Patricia Davis
of Pine Bush and brother Thomas Stueber and his wife Carol of Pine
Bush, Sister-in-law Noreen Shafer and her husband Michael of the
Villages, FL and Antoinette Gagan of Pine Bush, many nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Francis was
predeceased by his loving wife of 31 years Patricia, his parents
Francis and Sophie Stueber, mother and father-in-law Michael and
Mary Gagan, one nephew James Stueber, one niece Lori Brown, brother
and sister-in-law William M. Gagan and Mary Ann Tapley.
Francis had many accomplishments throughout his life. However, his
three children were his greatest. From them came his most prized
possessions in way of grandchildren to yet be extended to
great-grandchildren which one by one would melt his big "Grumpy"
heart. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 12, 2013
from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525
Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY 12566. Mass of Christian Burial
will be offered on Friday December 13, 2013 at 10am at the Church
of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial
will take place in New Prospect Cemetery with full Military
Honors. Memorial Donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior
