Muriel M. Wendland, a Seamstress for an apparel factory in Pine
Bush and lifelong resident of the area, passed away on Friday
November 12, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus. She was 96.
The daughter of the late John Fox and Bertha Collard Fox, she was
born on November 10, 1914 in Bloomingburg, NY. Survivors
include her daughter Virginia Schneider and her husband Herbert of
Wurtsboro, NY, her son Robert Wendland and his wife Grace of
Middletown, NY, brother, Howard Fox of Kingston, NY, sister, Hazel
White of Long Island, NY, 2 grandchildren, Karen Shattuck and her
husband Al, of Wyoming, and Brenda Volpe of Jacksonville, Florida,
and many nieces and nephews. Muriel is predeceased by her
husband Robert J. Wendland, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday Nov 16, 2010 from 2-4 &
7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD
Pine Bush NY. Services will be held at 8:30 pm during the
visitation. Cremation will be at Cedar Hill Crematory in
Newburgh, NY In lieu of flowers, please make donations to:
