Anita Sykes-Widmer
Pine Bush, NY
Anita Sykes-Widmer, a homemaker, passed away on May 13, 2015
at home surrounded by her family. She was 92. The daughter of
the late Harry Hehn and Lillian Burkhardt Hehn, she was born on
February 28, 1923 in Bronx, NY. Anita is
survived by her husband Edward at home, daughter Ruthanne of Pine
Bush, grandson Thomas and his wife Angie of Fayetteville, NC and
granddaughter Elizabeth of Pine Bush, She is also survived by her
great-granddaughters Savannah and Sophia also of
Fayetteville, NC. Anita was predeceased by her first husband
George and grandson Jonathan. Her family is forever grateful to
Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County for all the kindness and
compassion and wonderful care they gave Anita during the past ten
months. As per Anita's wishes, there will be no visitation.
Cremation and interment will be private. Gone from our sight, but
never gone from our heart. Donations can be made in Anita's name to
Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties Inc. 800 Stony Brook Court
