Obituary of Rachel Caquias

Rachel Caquias Middletown, NY Rachel Caquias, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area passed away on September 11, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. She was 76. The daughter of the late Angel Rivera and Maria Pagan Rivera, she was born on August 31, 1939 in Bronx NY. A family statement reads: Mom was known for her "Table Top Ministries". She stated that they will always continue and you just have to look up and pray and she will always be there ready to listen and share." Survivors include her sons; Luis A. Caquias of Newburgh and Samuel S. Caquias and his wife Debbie L. of Middletown, granddaughters; Gabby R. Caquias and Kenzie L. Caquias. Rachel was predeceased by her loving husband, Samuel Caquias. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Nurses and Staff at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence for their loving care and attention to Mom."
