Candy C. Casella, age 59, a Direct Support Assistant for NYS
HVDDSO, entered into rest surrounded by friends and family on
December 9, 2013 at Eastern Regional Medical Center, CTCA in
Philadelphia. The daughter of the late Raymond G. Casella and
the late Dolores Casella, she was born on December 29, 1953 in
Hackensack, New Jersey. Survivors include her partner Anna
Perna of New Jersey; sons Kenneth R. Mattern Jr. and partner Ricky
Shedrick of Virginia, Shaun R. Mattern of Monticello, Matthew
Mattern of Mountaindale and David Mattern of Monticello; four
grandchildren, Christopher, Alexis, Shaun Jr. and Rozlynn; sister
Elizabeth Casella of Virginia. Visitation will be held
Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan
Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, NY.
Services will be held at 4:30pm at the Funeral Home. Cremation will
be private and held at the convenience of the family.
