Obituary of Grace Rosado

Grace Rosado Middletown, NY Grace Rosado, a longtime resident of Orange County, NY passed on peacefully to be with the Lord on June 5, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 84 years old. Born June 27, 1931 in The Hague, Holland, Grace was the daughter of Tice and Ann (Baker) van der Goot and came to the United States in 1956. Grace was a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother and friend. She loved life, her family was her world, she had a strong faith in the Lord and was always grateful for the smallest of life’s everyday gifts. Whether it was needlepoint, knitting or crocheting, her hands were always busy creating. Grace is survived by her beloved husband, helper and soul mate, George. Her face literally beamed when he entered the room and she always said she would be lost without him. Grace is also survived by her brother, Jerry and his wife Jane, her sister Okkie and her husband John of NC, her nine children; daughter, Ann Andryshak and husband, Ron of Warwick, daughter Rita Keyser and Billy LaFleur of Middletown, son Henry Keyser and wife Danita of Bloomingburg, son Frank Keyser and wife Louise of Middletown, son George Rosado and wife Carol of Chester, son Lance Rosado of Ridgebury, daughter Carol Simms and husband Paul of Dolgeville, daughter Maryann Melville and husband Tom of Montgomery, and son Dwayne Rosado of Middletown. In addition, Grace is survived by her grandchildren; Brandi and Lyndsey Keyser, Austin Keyser, Vanessa, Nigel and Bryce Simms, Melissa Rosado, Erica and Emily Melville, Zachary Rosado, Andrea, Ron, and Andy Andryshak. Great grandchildren; Bailey and Andreah Rivera, Brooklyn Larson, Reece , Aubrey Andryshak and Miles Andryshak Liang along with several nieces and nephews. Grace was predeceased by her parents, Ann and Tice van der Goot , brother, Pete van der Goot and grandson, Henry John Keyser. Grace’s family would like to thank the kindness and loving care provided by Dr. Alexander Fruchter and Jill and Jeanette along with the caring nurses of ORMC. Friends and family may gather on Friday June 10, 2016 from 6-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush NY. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 11, 2016 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown NY.
