Alan T. Scott, “Scott”, 74, a retired worker since 1985 with the NYC Dept of Sanitation and longtime resident of Bloomingburg, NY, passed away on Monday February 27, 2017 surrounded by family . He was 74. The son of the late Helen and Howard Scott he was born September 29, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY Scott as he was referred to, moved his family to the area in 1980 to live in the country and to be in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. In his retirement, he enjoyed tending to his garden and property, and collecting items of yesteryear at weekend yard sales. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Connie; daughter Lisa Short and husband Bill of Pine Bush; sons Sean Scott, and Albert Scott and companion Elizabeth, both of Bloomingburg; and grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole, Kyle, Shawn, Andreanna, Ashley, Dakota, Jacob and Michael. Friends and family may gather for memorial on Sunday March 5, from 4-7pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Services will be private.
