Jean M. Harrison, 69, of Pine Bush, NY entered into eternal rest with her Father in Heaven, surrounded by her loving family, on March 19, 2017 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Jean was born in Goshen Hospital on July 12, 1947 to Howard and Anita Armbruster. She was a graduate of Goshen High School and received her Associates Degree in Business from SUNY Orange and became one of the first female managers of the Accounting Department at the East Fishkill branch of IBM. After the birth of her children she became a homemaker and teacher’s assistant in the Pine Bush School District. Most recently she independently provided childcare services. Jean was a member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Bullville, NY for over 35 years. Throughout this time she was actively involved in the choir, youth ministry and Arts and Environment committee. She sang in various church events at St. Paul’s and St. Albert’s in Middletown. She was a professed Lay Carmelite. Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who shared her passion for the outdoors with her family. She most especially enjoyed gardening, camping and searching for shells by the ocean, and providing a warm home for various pets. Jean is survived by her husband James, of Pine Bush; mother, Anita Armbruster son, Daniel and his wife Valerie, daughter Deborah and her fiancé Chris Worthington; grandchildren Brianne, Allison, Matthew, Joshua, Ephraim, Kira and Justice; sister Pat Lockwood, sister Nancy Faddegon and her husband Jack; and nephews Richard, Matthew and his wife Paige, and Thomas, niece, Molly and great-nephew Jack. She will be dearly missed by her loving cat Red and the pets of her children. Visitation from 7 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525, Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Paul’s R.C. Church, Bullville, NY on March 22, 2017 at 10 am with a reception to follow in the church hall.
