Terry "Gamps" Lellek a longtime resident of the area was called home by the  Lord surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer, on Monday April 24, 2017. He was 74. The son of the late John Lellek and Lucille Jenkens Lellek, he was born on March 23,1943 in Suffern, NY. Terry graduated from Suffern High School and from there he served 2 years in the Navy. He worked for Dodge/Chrysler from 1963-2005 and then served as a New York State Corrections Officer from Nov. 28, 2005 until he retired from Wallkill Correctional Facility on June 25, 2014. His hobbies included scuba diving, ATVing, motorcycling and all outdoor activities. Terry's favorite thing in life was watching Syfy and pulling pranks on people. Terry is loved by: Patricia (the love of his life), Trisha (David); Cheryl (Paul); Terry (Liya); John, Johnny (Brittany), Ashley (Edward), Jessica, Melissa; David (Ai), Andrew, Jonathan; Nicole, Stacia; Christie, Chase, his nieces and nephews, and his sister, Marylu. He was predeceased by his brothers Tommy and Danny. Visitation will be held on Friday April 28, 2017 from 1-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush, NY. Services will be offered at 4:30pm at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
