Obituary of Scott Wm. Dorthe

Scott William Dorthe Pine Bush, NY August 10, 1958 - July 24, 2010 Scott Dorthe, a retired Project Engineer for the Macy's Corporation and former owner of AKD Construction Co. passed away peacefully at home on Saturday July 24, 2010, after a courageous 10 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was 51. The son of the late Kenneth Dorthe and Terri Borden Dorthe, Scott was born on August 10, 1958 in New York City. Scott was a member of the Pine Bush Lions Club. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sandra, at home, children Erik, of New York City, and Amanda, Jonathan and Nicholas all at home, his brother Keith Dorthe and wife Michelle of Sussex, NJ, parents-in-law Mary and John Nordstrom of Pine Bush, sister-in-law, Valerie Michaels and her husband George of Pine Bush, and brother-in-law, John Nordstrom of Peekskill, NY. Scott is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Joshua, Gregory, Kurt and Rachael. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
