Juvenal A. Rodrigues, a Master Mechanic for 42 years at Alfredo’s Foreign Cars in Larchmont, NY and a 32 year resident of Pine Bush, passed away on Saturday February 3, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 68.  The son of the late Gilberto Rodrigues and Maria DosSantos Rodrigues, he was born on September 9, 1949 in Chaves, Portugal. Juvenal was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Matilde at home, children, Jorge Rodrigues Gomes and his wife Jamie McGinnis of Kerhonkson, and Luis Rodrigues Gomes also of Kerhonkson, granddaughter, Arden Clara Gomes, sister, Eduarda Melo and her husband Antonio of New Rochelle, brother, Jose Rodrigues and his wife Henriqueta of New Rochelle, sisters in law, Maria Jorge and her husband Armenio of Massachusetts, Candida Goncalves and her husband Antonio also of Massachusetts, and Palmira Goncalves of Brazil, brother in law, Manuel Rodrigues and his wife Adelina also of Brazil. Juvenal is further survived by many nieces and nephews and is predeceased by his sister, Maria Jose Evangelista. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 7-9pm and Thursday February 8, 2018 from 9-10am at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc.1525 Burlingham Road Pine Bush NY 12566. Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday at 11:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour. Burial will take place in New Prospect Cemetery.
