Mary Ann Nemetz, a home maker and longtime resident of the area passed away peacefully at her home on Friday April 20, 2018. She was 81. The daughter of the late John R. Waters and Mary Ann Mare Waters, she was born on July 20, 1936 in Teaneck, NJ. Mary was Former President of the Bullville Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her children, John Nemetz and his wife Chrissy of Colorado, Donald Nemetz and his wife Sharon of Arkansas, Judy Knarich and her husband Steve of Bloomingburg, Elizabeth Chaney and her companion Al Scott of Burlingham, 21 grandchildren including 3 grandchildren who hold a special place in her life, Brett, Margaux and Kymberlee Potter. Mary is further survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and is predeceased by her husband Ronald Nemetz, and her brothers, James and Richard Waters. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 from 4-6pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY.  Cremation was held at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in Poughkeepsie NY.
