Mary Petersen, a lifelong resident of the area passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday January 2, 2019. She was 75. The daughter of the late John H. Edwards and Emma D. Cooper Edwards she was born on February 2, 1943 in Middletown NY. Mary was a member of the Bullville Methodist Church, Past Member of the Circleville Ladies Auxiliary, and Teamsters 445. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, John at home, 3 children, John Petersen and his wife Linda of Idaho, Ann Palmer and  her husband Arthur of Middletown, and Timothy Petersen of Middletown, Grandchildren, Heather Palmer, Artie Palmer, Laura Petersen, Emily Petersen, Clayton Petersen and Haileigh Petersen, 7 sister, and 4 brothers. Mary is further survived by many many nieces and nephews and is predeceased by 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 great grandson, Blaine. Visitation will be held on Friday January 4, 2019 from 10am -12pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Funeral Service will be offered at 1pm at the United Methodist Church of Bullville  2857 Route 17k Bullville, NY 10915 with Pastor Scharlise Dorsey officiating.
