My dearest Chris,
You were like an aunt to me, with whom I have some of my best memories.
A woman with a heart of gold, a twinkle in your eyes, and a smile that lit up the entire room. A strength that always made one feel nurtured and protected and someone who was truly one in a million.
Tears well up in my eyes as I hear your voice saying:
" You ain't never had a friend like me! I'm like Auntie Mame."
What I would give just to hear your voice once more and see that beautiful smile again. I am sure you are having a ball up in heaven as we speak :)
