I taught English at Pine Bush High School with Margaret in the 1990s. She introduced me to the joy of flower bulbs. When my daffodils dance in the spring, I'll remember Margaret.

Dear Leslie,
So very sorry to learn of your mom's passing. Please know that you & your family are in my thoughts & prayers.
I appreciate your condolences when my dad died. Even when it's expected, it's tough to lose a parent. So this must be very hard for you. I'm so sorry.
Always remember that your mom's spirit will be with you. Talk to her and watch for little signs from her.
God bless & be well,
Tracey ❤

Margaret was a very special educator and friend to so many. She loved her family and her profession and I so enjoyed working with her at PBHS. She will be missed.
My deepest sympathy to her dear husband, Frank and the entire family.

I had the pleasure of working with Margaret from 1981-83. We shared half a classroom, 201, and shared students, as well. She was a devoted teacher and friend who gave her writing knowledge, her life’s lessons, and her compassion to all of our students. She loved her daughters, and grandkids so much. The love of her life was Frank, and she told me how special and loved he was. Margaret joined our retiree group and ventured out to many luncheons even though her eyesight was impaired. She was social, funny, and talented. It was a pleasure to have her in my life and I will miss her voice on the phone.
Thoughts and prayers to the Campilonga Family,
Love, Jeanne

Margaret was a lovely woman, caring teacher and such a gifted writer. As fellow teachers for many years, we shared a passion for promoting literacy, our love for the history of the Outer Banks of NC, and every now and then a naughty joke. My deepest sympathy to Frank, daughters Elaine and Leslie, and those precious grandchildren she so often spoke about.
RIP dear Margaret.
