Alvin Veaz, 58 passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center on August 8, 2019. He was a retired New York City Police Officer who was also a 9/11 First Responder. He was a proud retiree of the United States Coast Guard. Alvin’s favorite past time was fishing. But most of all, Alvin was a dedicated family man and everyone thought of him as kind, loving, and caring. He was quick to make friends. Alvin is survived by his wife Susan Veaz of Pine Bush, his two sons, Alvin Jr. and Michael both of Pine Bush, 2 grandchildren, Jace and Brooke of Pine Bush, brother, Richard Veaz of Florida and his parents, Basilio and Gregoria Veaz of Puerto Rico.
