Barbara Ryan Pine Bush, NY Barbara (Nannola) Ryan passed away on May 8, 2020 under the care of her daughters Kelly & Angelina. She was brought home on hospice to spend her last week of life where she truly always wanted to be, at home. She fought through a long three year battle with stage 4 liver cancer & kidney failure among other underlying conditions. She was born in West Wood, New Jersey on October 28, 1964 to parents who didn’t realize the blessing they had. She lived a tough life but always made the best of every situation with a positive mind set and the strength of a fighter. She was truly an exceptional mother to her girls and was an even more amazing grandmother. She loved her family more than anything. She worked hard her whole life to give her girls what she didn’t have as a child and she succeeded all by herself. She was truly selfless and spent her career caring for others as a nurse. She was a beautiful person inside & out and captured the hearts of many. She loved to laugh and she spent most of her time laughing with her family even when things were tough. She was so proud to be a grandmother and adored spending time with her grandchildren every chance she had. She took enjoyment in the small but beautiful things life can offer such as the smell of freshly cut grass, the change of seasons, and the power of prayer. She was the real life feeling of being home. Her family will miss her more than words can describe, she was not only a mother but a best friend. The little things will be missed the most like long talks with her, girls night, cocktail time & trips to Dunkin. Those moments with her will be cherished forever. She is survived by her daughters Renee, Kelly, & Angelina; her grandchildren who she loved with all her heart, Matthew & Melina; and companion Dennis Bruno. She also had several siblings, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her former companion, Mike Pacella, who she will now be with in eternal life. Let this be a reminder to spend time with your family as good health & tomorrow are never promised.
