I got to know Joyce and Brooklyn New York. We were all young early teens and we all hung out. She was kind she was sweet had the best smile and in the fall she always had that Norwegian sweater on. We all loved Joyce Larson or at the time Joyce Nelson. Life is got a strange way of playing out… We will miss her. I will miss her deeply I just pray that she’s in a much better place and that she has no pain no problems and she is smiling that infectious smile and laughing like only she could.. Love to you my Brooklyn Fran you may God watch over you .

I am so sorry for your loss.
Some of the memories I have of Joyce, are at the baseball watching you kids play baseball.
Christian running around. Talking about our Norwegian heritage, and of course the May 17th day parade.
Seeing her every morning getting Christian on the bus. Conversation we would have when we would meet in town.
She was so proud of her children and grandchildren.
She will be missed.

Joyce and my mom Judie were best friends at one point of their lives. I have so many memories of Joyce she was a Aunt to me I will miss her so much. Rest easy to the most loving funny grateful dead Norwegian lady ever! I love you! You are now back with Steve and hanging with my mom and many many more loved ones! It is true the best go way to soon! To the family I am so sorry for your loss I will have each and everyone of you in my prayer!
