I had the priviledge of meeting Jerry during his military service. More recently as a Knight of Columbus and during his stay at the hospital. I know his desire was to be a spiritual guide to others when he was able. To some, he never reached that goal but, in my time with him, and I suspect others would concur, he did more spiritual guiding during his last days than he could ever know. My he rest in peace.
