Gerard J. Wieczorek Bloomingburg, NY Gerard J. Wieczorek, a longtime resident of the area passed away on Monday September 19, 2011 at ORMC. He was 60. The son of the late Max Wieczorek and Mary Mulligan Wieczorek, he was born on April 20, 1951 in Bronx, NY. Gerard served his county in the US Army for 37 years. He started at the 42nd MMC and ended at the Troop Command in Valhalla NY. He was responsible for moving equipment during this time in service and has received numerous presidential citations for a job well done. Gerard was part of the Knights of Columbus, the lay Carmelites, the Catholic War Veterans and the Church of the infant Saviour. Survivors include his wife Eileen at home, 2 children; Kerry Gebo and her husband Joe of Pine Bush, and Brian Wieczorek and his wife Vicky also of Pine Bush, 4 grandchildren; Saige, Nylah, Raymond, and Caitlyn, sisters; Maureen Clarke and Mary Wieczorek, 3 nieces; Karissa Potenzo, Jennifer Wieczorek, and Lori Gray, 1 nephew; Michael Eaton. He is predeceased by his brother, Michael Wieczorek. Visitation will be held on Thursday Sept 22, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday Sept 23, 2011 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
