Dear Teresa and family:
Just a note to let you know how I understand your grief: I lost a son at the age of 26 on April 13, 2010. He was a graduate of Mt. St. Mary and he made a tragic mistake.
My deepest condolence for your loss. May God bless you and comfort you during this time; I felt empty when my son died, but I soon realized that God was very present for me in all the wonderful responses people had in our loss, and that they were God's voice and hands and heart.
God bless, +Rev. Dave Mason

I went to our spot last night where we spent many nights playing pool, having a few beers and talking about life, It’s not the same. I still can’t believe you’re gone. I’m so thankful for the last year I’ve had the pleasure of calling you one of my best friends. You were there every time I needed you right or wrong without reproach. I served with Jeremy in Quantico, VA and met up with him again during his time at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan. He was always a solid, excitable, all around great guy to be around. Made coming to work interesting. His service influenced the lives of the many Marines he interacted with. He'll live on in our memories, and the lessons he taught us and the stories we have to tell, will be passed on to future generations of Marines. Rest in peace brother. Semper Fi.

Hello, I am very sorry for your loss. I served with your son on camp Kinser Okinawa, Japan. I am both saddened and shocked to hear this tragedy. I remember some very fond times with your son while abroad. I always remembered your son as a funny, welcoming and unselfish lad. He’s in a much better place. We lost touch after leaving the service and went our own separate ways but it hurts to find out one of my bother in arms and friend has passed on. I wish all the best on these hard times and just know that your son will be missed by his fellow Marines.
